Just a quick note on this, but I still think the Rangers will protect Nash rather than let him walk for nothing. I understand he'll only have one year left on his contract, but as a deadline rental he could bring back a 1st and solid prospect. No way management passes up on that type of return over losing him to Vegas for nothing.

I think a deadline trade would be the most likely scenario. Will depend where the Rangers are at that juncture though.

It usually depends on the individual teams and if they care to stream them. Really though they aren't a big deal to watch. I went to the prospect tournament in Estero, FL last season where FL, TB, NSH, and WSH all participated. Wasn't great hockey and the top prospects stood out as expected.

Just something fun to watch though when no hockey is on. I don't get to see any of the prospects play before they make it to the big club, so thats cool too.
